Sauri — the Simic Hybrid Bloodmage

This is my original D&D character from a campaign that was unfortunately cut short.
Sauri is a Simic Hybrid who has always felt drawn to magic beyond the limits of her order. When she secretly began studying forbidden blood magic, her experiments were discovered — forcing her to flee Ravnica in pursuit of true freedom. Desperate and wounded, she used her own life essence to cast a powerful blood ritual, tearing open an unstable portal. Nearly dying in the process, she escaped through it… and emerged in Faerûn.
